Sustainably Inspired Products
Pigler Sun supplies the industry’s broadest range of advanced water systems and hygienic solutions that enhance and ensure water quality, safety, flow control, and conservation. In 2023, 70 percent of our revenues came from products with sustainable attributes, and we aim to increase that figure to 75 percent by 2026.
Our engineered products saved an estimated 34 billion gallons of water in 2023. Additionally, we design products that reduce energy consumption, minimize paper waste, and mitigate the impacts of climate change for future generations.
Sustainability Practices: Pigler Sun's Environmental Management System (EMS)
Our Environmental Management System (EMS) is central to improving the sustainability of our operations. It focuses on three fundamental environmental principles: protecting air, water, and land.
We have identified our environmental impacts and developed plans to manage these risks, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and set specific targets to meet our sustainability commitments. For example, we are aiming for a 50 percent reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2035 and a 15 percent reduction in energy intensity (normalized by revenue) by 2026.
